ANSUBER STADIUM
Conceived, designed, and built under the auspices of the Holy Father, Porillis I, the Ansuber Stadium was originally to be called the Stadium of Porillis. However, after Porillis I persuaded Ansuber to resign his throne over a trivial matter, the following surprise Emperor, being the wily Dun I, publicly declared at the stadium's grand opening that it would henceforth be named the Ansuber Stadium, in recognition of their kindly ruler before him. Although the Holy Father Porillis I tried to fight this declaration, a popular sympathy and liking for the very man Porillis I had gleefully dethroned prevented Porillis I from ever being able to assign his own name to the structure, hence its current name today. Porillis I died not long after he was outwitted by Ansuber's successor. |
