ARMON III

Emperor of the Corianth Empire during the tumultuous years of 512 - 523 LC, he succeeded where only Dun I had before him by destroying the authority of the Order of Omicron, and creating ripe circumstance for an empire wide civil war that has yet to occur.

Tired of with his dealings of a highly fractious Order of Omicron, Armon III took advantage of dissension between colleges and placed his son, Wrenis, upon the seat of the Holy Father, by means of simple bullying and bribery.

However, Wrenis soon became too frustrated with the protestations and violent confrontations between the different colleges that he made a declaration that the College of Cardinals would be disbanded immediately, each Cardinal within stripped of any position of authority. With this astonishing news Wrenis then made the unparalleled pronouncement that the position of the Holy Father was to be ended, effectively immediately, and then lay down his robes.

Armon III had not simply taken control of the Order of Omicron, as he had wished, but instead successfully fragmented it, his son removing all form of centralised power from that religion in one short year, that neither the Emperor nor his impatient son survived.

Armon III was cut down in his throne room, along with his bodyguard, when a large number of people, mostly of the Order of Omicron and protesting the removal of their seats of power, turned into a murderous mob and killed their Emperor. Wrenis was killed under different circumstances, being abducted, tortured and then assassinated, his body tied to a cart and then wheeled from the top of the Emperors Rock.
