AVENUE OF THE EMPERORS
The main entryway into the city of Corianth, the Avenue of the Emperors parades huge gold gilded marble statues of all past Emperors along its length at intervals, from the magnificent East Gate, to the Emperors Rock. Once a royal highway for the kings of Eiom, Emperor Sephis I extended it, the name Vianita Imperialis being a temporary designation until the evolving language of Corianth rendered it otherwise. Since the building and expansion of the river docks, the Avenue of the Emperors has become a bustling nerve centre for traders and markets, drawing away investment and interest from the Avenue of Processions. |
