Illustrious capital city of the Kingdom of Lionossus, it was lavishly built as a legacy for the family of Sephis I. Begun under the auspices of Irithos I, and later by Irithos II, it has grown to be a centre of wealth for the rulers of that kingdom as they successively channel taxes towards its improvement and maintenance.
