Technically adopted, but generally recognised as the great-great grandson of Emperor Dun I, he ascended the throne after the suicide of Emperor Borron II in 409 LC, for remorse of the sexually motivated murder of Dun II's elder brother. Dun II reigned until his natural death in 431 LC, when his growing son took upon himself the title of Emperor Dun III.
