EMPERORS ROCK
Name given to a large hill upon which Eiom was founded, the River Induin flowing by one side and the waves of the Sea of Iscal breaking upon the rocks at its base on another, the Emperors Rock is the perpetual seat of authority for the city. When Sephas defeated King Emeris at the Siege of Eiom, he levelled the King's residence upon the Kings Mount, as it was known then, and constructed a grand palace upon its place, renaming it Emperors Rock.
Only the wealthiest can afford to have homes of any sort upon it, most of the space taken by the greatly extended imperial palace, within which the City Council of Corianth and the Emperors Guard both have their main chambers and offices. |
