IESCU

Person regarded as Holy by the Order of Omicron, they insist that he was God on earth, made flesh, to teach all better of compassion, meekness, and forgiveness. Born in Mezraheda, in Gallerea, during the time of the Ossienic occupation, Iescu chided the leaders of the Genneserite priesthood for their corruption, insisting that a necessary humility before God was being ignored. Later put to death by the Ossienic authorities there, at the instigation of both the Acephim and the Nares of the Genneserite priesthood, Isecu became a central cult figure in a number of growing religions based on his recorded teachings. Ironically, in 269 BLC, the Ossienic Empire soon took upon itself a version of his teachings as their own sole religion of empire, initiating a series of serious religious persecutions, notably among the stubbornly polytheistic Eptemians. The Ossienic Empire did not last long after. Torn from within by political machinations, and a growing resistance from independent-minded Eptemia, that empire fragmented, releasing Eptemia, Gallerea, and other provinces to their own self-rule and governance, the still appreciably large kingdom of a mono-theistic Ithraya remaining.

However, during those religious persecutions in Eptemia itself, a man named Vaul, who held his own unique personal and written revelation regarding Iescu, fled upon a boat to the seemingly insignificant colony named Eiom, once founded by Delophis before Ossienic rule. Regarded as one of many various safe havens from Ossienic overlordship, Vaul was merely one of many refugees to take flight to Eiom, where he constructed a building of worship there, outside of the main city, to disseminate his personal teachings. The structure of his creation later became known as the Church of Omicron. Centuries later, a young boy named Sephas Corianthos would be greatly influenced by that very church and its teachings. After conquering Eiom itself, and founding empire even over the Ithrayans, as Emperor Sephis he would refound the Church of Omicron as the Order of Omicron, the sole religion of his new created Corianth Empire.
