Name of the fourth Emperor of the Corianth Empire, who was hurriedly placed upon the imperial throne to try to calm people's fears about its future after the murder of both of Sephas' sons in the previous two reigns. In order to establish his authority without question, he was forced to marry Merennis, the aged daughter of Sephas to Lady Syraena, before he too was assassinated and she returned to her nunnery to die of tuberculosis. |
