Holy Father who officiated over the funeral of Emperor Ophis I, and allowed himself to be persuaded to allow a then seemingly wise High Priest for the College of Ministers, named Polithos, to act as a temporary seat upon the imperial throne while a true successor was found. However, Polithos declared himself an Emperor, deposing Nestorman II in favour of his own puppet Holy Father, Ciminion. |
