PHEIROS
An Eptemian name, that survives into the Corianth Empire, for the small red moon that encompasses the sky, west to east, during the summer months. Appearing in spring, and descending below the horizon in early autumn, Pheiros has long been used as a gauge as for when to plant seed and harvest. In mythology is it usually identified with aspects of the underworld, fertility, and resurrection. |
