RYNELL
One of the conspirators, and anti-character to Dalathos, both are idealists and functionary warriors, who believe in representing a cause. Both have their own unique set of moral values however, and while Dalathos believes that killing can be justified, Rynell allows a far wider remit of what actually constitutes justification.
Born to Cardinal Lorinian, a serious dispute with his father over a failed nuptial arrangement caused by Rynell's lusts elsewhere led to Rynell being disenfranchised by his father. However, Rynell was quickly taken under the protection of Nedianis Lysimios, the Cardinal Pontiphas, who had himself recently lost his only son by misadventure. The two men became close, and Rynell was adopted by Nedianis.
Originally raised with the name of Rodrigan Lorinian, he changed his name to accept his adoptive father's name, and then for shame of his birth family he insisted on the use of an acronym, Rynell representing his full name of Rodrigan Nestormon Erin Lorinian Lysimios.
Now Lord of the College of Armaments, Rynell is also a major player in Mulrek's conspiracy, acting as a right hand man to that councillor.
Rynell currently has a majority hold over the Order of Omicron by claiming to represent the authority of the last Cardinal Pontiphas, by wearing Nedianis' ring of office, claimed awarded in trust to Rynell to govern the Order of Omicron during the elder man's absence and until his return.
However, Rynell's position is neither strong nor unquestionable, especially as the Cardinal Pontiphas, Nedianis Amoranis Lysimios, has not appeared in public and is rumoured to be murdered. This has forced Rynell to ally himself with the High Priest of the College of Ministers, Siyat Bren, so as to maintain his control and attempt to contain the dangerous ambitions of Father Dinemetis, Chair Deacon of the College of Administrators, being the largest of the Order of Omicron's remaining three colleges.
Rynell has been busy soliciting support from various kingdoms for Mulrek, actively liasing with new formed allies, and even hints strongly at having murdered King Servitus of Athoril to allow his more sympathetic son, Narrah II, to ascend to the throne of that kingdom.
