Leader of the Thos rebellion against the expansion of the Corianth Empire, Storm Anulf lead a faction in a civil war among his own people. Joining his most loyal allies, Emperor Sephis I brought his disciplined armies against the more erratic soldiery of Storm Anulf and resoundingly beat him in battle in 11 LC.

However, Storm Anulf escaped, fighting a guerrilla campaign for another four years, before one of his own lieutenants assassinated him.
